Brian Sun is a law clerk at The Nath Law Group for Mr. Epstein. Mr. Sun is currently a third year student at the University of San Diego School of Law. His intended area of practice after graduation includes patent prosecution, trademark and corporate work.
Prior to joining The Nath Law Group, Mr. Sun worked at Nitto Denko Technical Corporation as an in-house patent intern. While employed at NDT, Mr. Sun wrote several patent applications for inventions relating to biotechnology and chemistry and participated actively in the management of the company’s IP portfolio.
Mr. Sun also currently interns in the San Diego State Technology Transfer Office where he assists with patent and licensing issues. Mr. Sun was instrumental in negotiating a monetary relationship between the SDSU TTO and UCSD CONNECT for the promotion of entrepreneurial awareness at SDSU, development of an inverse flow network for technology and to secure opportunities for university faculty to enter CONNECT’s Springboard program.
Mr. Sun obtained dual degrees in Molecular and Cell Biology and English from the University of California at Berkeley and is a member of the San Diego Intellectual Property Law Association and the San Diego County Bar Association.
